Stefan Sagmeister

What a name. His last name sound like Jagermeister. I have seem some of his work. I find a lot of his work to be very edgy. For an example I added to this blog spot one of his works that I have seem probably the most from him. One of the reasons why I enjoy looking at his work is because it always catches your attention. When I look at a photograph I want the photograph to grab my attention. With his work I always feel this way.

Masterpiece!

I have mastered Adobe InDesign, can't you tell.

My shadow

The other day some friends and some of my family along with myself were hanging out at 15th street in Del Mar. We picked up some sandwiches at Board N Brew on our way. After having lunch, I brought out my bocce ball set which is a must do at 15th street and threw a couple of games. While playing bocce ball I noticed my shadow on the grass from the sun which was setting. After realizing I had my camera on me I started to snap away......

Maximillion

Here is a photo of my parents new dog. He is a Golden Retreiver. His name is Max!

Good boy Max!

Graffiti Shot

I took this picture right next to Pizza Port in Solana Beach. I like the composition of the shot, how the viewer is looking through the fence at the graffiti. I like how I made the graffiti in focus and the fence not in focus. You can tell that I took this in front of a fence. I think that the fence and the graffiti have this connection between themselves that captures a general essence of graffiti.

Clip of David Carson

I agreed with what David Carson had to say about typography. The use of a certain type of font can change the look of a word, phrase and or sentence tremendously with the right use of typography. I like how Carson's use of different font's make his work as a designer more edgy.

Getting started.......

So I just created my blog. Can't wait to find ways to use and abuse it.
