Oliver Herring

I thought at first it was very unusual to see what he was photographing. A guy splitting colored food dye onto his face. After seeing his images printed I kinda liked the look of them. I liked the color or colors of the paint on the guys face and the way it looked photographed.

Reza Abedini

I had never heard of the artist Reza Abedini before. After browsing through some of his work I got a chance to see what his work consists of. I like a lot of his posters. I like how he uses typography in his work. Although I cannot read what he writes in his work because it is in farsi, I do enjoy the look and layout of it.

Arturo Herrera

I had never seen anyone put film into water for the purpose of getting the effect of what the water does to the film. I thought that his experiences with this is very creative. The look of his images from this technique makes it look very abstract. He is using a few stages in his process of getting his images this way. I was excited to see some of his wall paintings but the video was turned off before we were able to see any of them. So I decided to post one of his wall paintings.

Tom Scott

I enjoyed looking at some of the photographs by Tom Scott. The series of his photographs of the sand are very interesting to me. I live at the beach and see somewhat of the same images that Tom Scott has taken but never have really noticed the patterns they all have and imagined how they would look if they were photographed. After seeing some of his work, it makes me want to go out on the beach and try taking some of my own.

My book.....

I am thinking that my book will be about me. I want my book to mostly consist of my photography. Photography that I have taken in the past and will continue to take in the future. I also want to have in my book; writings, scanned images, notes, drawings etc. things by me. I will design the book so that it pulls together all of these elements. Not every page in my book will relate to one another but every page will relate to me. My book is going to be RAD!
